Jared Leto said that he was inadvertently caught in an Italian protest where the situation worsened when security initiated shelling.

The shelling caused others as well him to face teargas. Leto recorded multiple events during the protest.

He uploaded the video with the caption, “got caught in a protest in Italy. The footage uploaded on social media shows that the police are wearing gear and interacting with the protesters. 

One man in the front can be seen with a wound on his head. The video did not show the moment when he was teargassed.

About Jared Leto

Jared Leto’s parents were divorced, as mentioned earlier. The ‘Leto’ is the surname given to him by his stepfather.

He was eight when his father married another woman, but unfortunately, he committed suicide. Jared, alongside his brother Shannon Leto, was living with their mother and their maternal grandparents. 

His maternal grandparents were Ruby (Russell) and Willian Lee Matrejan. His grandfather was in the air force, so he moved to different cities. Jared says, “so moving around a lot was a normal way of life.”

Due to his father’s second marriage, he had two younger half brothers. Constance was a member of the Hippie movement, and he encouraged her sons to participate in the arts.

Jared recalls when he was in the hippie movement, and he says that there were all kinds of artists, musicians, photographers, painters, and people who were a member of the theatre.

He started playing music with his brother, and the first musical instrument he had was a broken-down piano. He dropped out of the movement when he was in grade 10.

After dropping out, he decided to focus on his studies and complete his education, enrolling himself in Emerson Preparatory School in Washington, D.C. Then, he went to the University of Arts in Philadelphia. 

But, he started building interest in filmmaking he joined the school of visual arts in New York City. After some studies, he wrote and starred in his short film, ‘Crying Joy.’ 

Jared went to the Cocoran school of arts and design, and then he became a student at George Washington University. In 1992, he started focusing on becoming a director with the intention of getting some acting roles.

After some struggle period, in 1994, he was starred in the ABC teen drama, ‘My so-caalled life,’ where he was given the role of Jordan Catano. Despite being canceled after the first season of the teen drama, he received great praise from the audience. 

He began his tv film debut by starring in a film, ‘Cool and the crazy, with the female co-star Alicia Silverstone. In 1995, he landed a role in ‘How to make America Quilt,’ and then he got a supporting role in Switchback(1997).

He stared in a biopic Prefontaine in which he played the role of Steve Prefontaine. He reported that he worked out for six weeks, and he adopted the running style and the habitat of Profantine. 

He started to resemble a lot more like Profantine. All the audience loved the movie, and the critics also praised the acting performance of Leto in the film. 

Then, he landed some roles in Basil, Urban Legend, The Thing Red Line and got inducted in many nominations to receive best performance awards.
